Materiality or Immateriality, what's it gonna be punk?
Performance for camera (2009)

An audience watch me move around a set of objects with a video
camera. There is a live feed to stacks of monitors either side of the
set and I have one furry arm. |The performance juxtaposes the
framing of the camera with the live action and a Jeckyll and Hyde
approach to the materials. Setting things up, knocking them over,
making them revolve. Scrapes and noises from the camera are
amplified through speakers behing the audience.

 

Tuning Up
Sound installation/performance (2008)

Collaboration with Stephen Cornford. Weather balloons filled with hellium are released in the stairwell of Arnolfini. Harmonicas are attached to their mouths. When released the helium escapes through the harmonicas, playing a chord which modulate as the balloons rise and fall.
